Below are the designing information on making
browser skins.
You can make these and send to us for inclusion
on Goldstats
Skins pages.

Design Requirements: |

|
All skins must be
saved in a BMP format. |
|
|
All skins must be 800
pixels wide by 135 pixels high. |
|
|
All skins should be 256 color
(8 bit indexed color). |

We've come up with some helpful hints to make your skins look even
better.
- Create a YourSkin.bmp file according to the Skin Design
Guidelines you can found above.
Important: Give your skins a unique name that contains your
site's domain name: (Example: logoname.bmp)
- Click on this link to download and save xip.exe.
(it's a utility designed to compress bmp files for faster
download)
- Click the xip.exe file to execute the program (a xip window will
be opened).
- Drag the YourSkin.bmp file (skins must be in Bmp format!)
over the opened xip window.
- The xip.exe will generate for you a YourSkin.xip file in
the directory where your YourSkin.bmp is saved.
- Send the original BMP file and the XIP file to us via email at skins@goldstats.com.
Upon approval we will add it to our on-line gallery.

Copy your BMP image file to
"C:\Program files\Hotbar\" (be sure to put a copy and not
the original file). |

Go to the "My
Private Collection" page. This link can be found under our
Skin Control heading. |

|
Now choose your new BMP image
from the list. |
